The field of medicine is rapidly advancing and newer innovations and technologies are being incorporated every day into health care delivery system. Sick patients need multi-disciplinary management with collaboration of a team of specialists. With this dream of providing a comprehensive care at affordable cost under one roof, the idea of starting Ashwini medical centre evolved way back in 2006. At that time no ICU existed in town of Anand which could cater the need of middle and lower middle class of people in and around Anand district.

With this dream we five clinicians thought of starting this facility to address all types of medical and surgical condition for people from all walks of society.

Ashwini Medical centre is situated in the heart of Anand city near main bus stand. It has facilities for treating all types of medical and surgical conditions. We have state of art 10 bedded air conditioned ICU and ICCU with ultra-modern invasive and non-invasive ventilators, multipara monitors and central monitoring system, temporary cardiac pacing central oxygen and suction and blood gas analysers.

We have operation theatres equipped with most modern anaesthesia equipment, central oxygen and suction, defibrillator and multipara monitors and attached to recovery rooms for post-surgical ICU support.

Ours is an open ICU where consultants from other hospitals can also admit their critical patients and avail the expert services of our trained intensivists.

In last 16 years we have treated innumerable patients with cardiac and non-cardiac issues, various medical and surgical emergencies. All types of ENT and Head and neck surgeries including cancer surgeries , endoscopic sinus and skull base surgeries , microscopic ear surgeries , cochlear implant surgeries faciomaxillary trauma surgery, urosurgery, laparoscopic abdominal surgeries , neurological surgeries and all types of cancer surgeries have been successfully performed by our team of ENT and General surgeon.

Our team at Ashwini Medical Centre shall endeavour to provide the highest quality of Medical, surgical and preventive care support to the mission of health and life management with strong backing of our team of visiting consultants and experts in various branches of medicine, surgery, Oncosurgery and neurosurgery.

Recipient of Dr. S.D. Parikh Award for work on use of Plates in treatment of Mandible Fractures.
Trained in Head and Neck Cancer surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Centre, USA & M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre , Houston, Texas, USA.
Received training in Ear Surgery at prestigious House Ear Institute at Los Angeles USA.

Dr. Nandkishor S. Panchal

Worked with eminent physician of Gujarat, Dr. Girish Vaishnav.
Practicing in Anand as Physician, Diabetologist and Cardiologist for last 19 years.

Dr. Shishir P. Gandhi

Passed M.D. in internal medicine from T.N.M.C, Mumbai in 1990.
Taught medicine in P.S. Medical College, Karamsad for 3 years and is attached as a visiting falculty in Dept. of Medicine
Received training in Colour Doppler and 2D Echo Cardiography from eminent cardiologist Dr. R.G.Lotlikar of Mumbai.
Practicing as Physician and Cardiologist in Anand since 1993.
